Mitre 10 MEGA Papamoa Trade Support
It’s an exciting time for us as we get ready to open our brand-new Mitre 10 MEGA store at The Sands in Papamoa later this year.
Locally owned and operated, we’re passionate retailers who take pride in supporting our team to deliver excellent service and solutions for our customers. As we prepare for this exciting new chapter, we are now recruiting 2 Trade Support Coordinators to join our Trade team and help us deliver a great trade experience in our new store. These are full time roles, working 40 hours across 5 days, Monday to Friday.
This is your chance to join from the start, support a growing Trade team, and help create a smooth, reliable experience for trade customers in a brand-new MEGA store environment.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll support the Trade team with administration, quote and order processing, and great customer service. You’ll help keep trade operations running smoothly by coordinating information, maintaining accurate data, supporting Account Managers, and making sure trade customers get the right products on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide friendly, solutions-focused support to trade customers and respond to enquiries professionally
- Process trade orders accurately, including special orders and direct-to-site deliveries
- Prepare and update quotes, tenders, and estimates, and follow up pending quotes as needed
- Maintain accurate customer, price, and product information across relevant systems
- Work with suppliers to source product information, pricing updates, and availability
- Support trade promotions, events, and stock-related activities such as product updates or stock checks
- Collaborate with the wider store team to deliver great service and support trade sales and margin outcomes
What You’ll Bring
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with a helpful and professional approach
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing quotes, orders, and product information
- Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Problem-solving skills and initiative, with the ability to resolve routine issues and know when to escalate
- Confidence using computer systems and the ability to learn trade systems for quoting, pricing, stock, and CRM
- An understanding of trade product categories, or the willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
