Yard Loader/Picker - Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield

The Role

If you have an interest in the Building and Construction industry and want to get paid while improving your knowledge and skillset, this could well be the role for you.

Our Distribution team are looking for someone who loves delivering first-class customer service and doesn’t mind a bit of hard work! This is a challenging but rewarding role, working together with the Timber drive-thru and Dispatch teams. Your primary focus will be assisting and providing timely internal customer service by loading and unloading stock orders coming in and out of the branch.

A good level of physical fitness is required to help lift timber and other materials, as well as to be on your feet all day. This is a permanent, full time role, working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 45 hours, 6.00 am to 3.30 pm in all weather.

About You

You will be able to bring a drive and energy for getting the job done right. Previous customer service experience and/or building and timber knowledge would be an advantage, but it is your strong personal values, in alignment with ours, that will make you successful at Mitre 10.

To be successful:

• A full, clean Driver Licence and current F endorsed forklift certification are an advantage  
• Forklift skills are essential - Combi Lift is preferred 
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer service and support to the despatch, yard and inventory teams with checking of stock orders
