Lead from the Front – Join NZ’s Largest Home Improvement Retailer
About the Role
Trade is a big and growing part of our business, and we’re after a hands-on leader who’s passionate about people, customers, and results.
As Yard and Drive Thru Zone Manager, you’ll take ownership of our Building Products area — leading a team that keeps the yard running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll set the standard for customer service and make sure every customer — from DIYers to major builders — gets the right advice and support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading, coaching, and developing your team to deliver great customer experiences
- Driving Trade sales, profitability, and operational performance
- Maintaining top standards in presentation, stock management, and safety
- Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Representing and promoting Trade business for the Henderson MEGA store
About You
You’re a confident leader who knows how to get the best from your team. You’re customer-focused, organised, and thrive in a busy, hands-on environment.
You’ll bring:
- Leadership or supervisory experience in trade, retail, or building
- A genuine passion for great customer service
- Solid knowledge of building products or trade operations
- Strong people and communication skills
- A practical, can-do attitude
- A Full Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence (Forklift Licence an advantage)

The Details
This is a full-time role, 42.5 hours per week including one weekend day.
