Trade Yard Sales Person - Mitre 10 Kerikeri

Mitre 10 Kerikeri is looking for another Tradies Mate to become an integral part of our growing Trade Department.

Do you have Trade Yard or building industry experience or a background in the building industry? We need people who can connect with both our DIY and Trade customers through outstanding service and excellent product knowledge. 

We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:

• Enthusiasm and team spirit
• A passion for customer service excellence and a practical knowledge of building material products
• Have a current full NZ drivers license a must
• Forklift license is advantageous but not essential, “F” endorsed Forklift license also an asset
• Good time management
• A quick and alert mind and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• The availability to work on a roster including one day of the weekend
• Physically fit and have solid health and safety values as some manual heavy lifting is involved

Daily, you will be accountable for:

- Ensuring customers are the number one priority, receiving the highest standard of service they deserve;

- Taking on responsibility for on-the-floor stock, displays, point-of-sale and standards within your department;

- Contributing to the overall success of the store, actively supporting loss prevention initiatives and process;

- Assembly of customer orders and customer deliveries
