🔧About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Timber & Building Team Member to join our Trade Yard team at Mitre 10 MEGA Albany, working four 10 hour days across Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This is a hands-on, physical role supporting trade and DIY customers with timber, building materials, and yard operations. You’ll be assisting with loading materials, moving stock, maintaining a safe yard environment, and providing practical advice to customers who know what they need — and expect knowledgeable service.

This role is well suited to someone with existing timber or building product knowledge who enjoys active work and being part of a close-knit trade-focused team.

⭐What You’ll bring

• Previous timber, building, trade, or hardware experience (required)
• Full, current driver’s licence (essential)
• North Shore–based or living within reasonable travel distance to Albany (preferred)
• Ability to work on a full-time basis (essential)
• Confidence with measurements and basic calculations
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Safety-focused and reliable in a yard environment
• A practical, team-focused attitude with good customer skills
