Our MEGA stores are our flagship, and we’re looking for someone exceptional to help lead the growth of our Trade business at Mitre 10 MEGA Takanini.

About the Role

As a Trade Commercial Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining trade customer accounts across the Auckland region. You’ll build strong relationships, identify new opportunities, and help shape our success in core product categories — from frame and truss to installed solutions and building lines.

You’ll be part of a high-performing, supportive team that values hard work, great service, and having a bit of fun along the way.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship builder who understands the needs of trade customers — because you’ve been there. You’ll bring:

• Solid knowledge of building products and a strong sales background
• Proven experience in the building & allied industry — or a track record of high performance in another sales-driven field
• Strong account management skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• A sharp eye for emerging market opportunities and a sound understanding of pricing and margins
• Excellent customer service skills and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
• Great time management and the ability to adapt your communication style to suit your audience
• A positive, down-to-earth attitude — and the drive to get the job done
• Fluency in Hindi or other community languages is a plus, helping us connect more meaningfully with our diverse customer base
