Trade Marketing Specialist

with a knack for driving growth and innovation? Join our Marketing Team as our Trade
Marketing Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping and
executing our trade marketing calendar and strategic initiatives.
This hands-on role lets you take ownership of key trade marketing campaigns, working across the full marketing mix—from crafting compelling content for our owned channels (catalogue, social media, and merchandise) to leading paid advertising campaigns, promotions, and supporting strategic trade partnerships and events. You'll also be the go-to expert for supporting local trade marketing initiatives across our stores, ensuring consistency and impact at every touchpoint.

Reporting to the
Head of Brand & Trade Marketing your key responsibilities will include;
- Driving the National Trade Marketing Calendar – Supporting the execution of Mitre 10 Trade’s marketing and promotional strategy, ensuring seamless delivery across all campaigns.
- Managing Monthly Trade Offers – Taking ownership of promotional offers, including the development of support initiatives and assets to maximize impact.
- Enhancing Trade-Owned Channels – Developing compelling content and assets across social media, Trade Website, branded merchandise, diaries, and Trade Brand standards to strengthen engagement. Creating Multi-Channel Campaigns – Assisting in the development, briefing, and execution of promotional campaigns spanning radio, digital, out-of-home, social media, and print—including branded collateral, in-store posters, and industry publications.
- Supporting Key Trade Events & Sponsorships – Contributing to industry events and sponsorship activations, from creating stand materials and promotional content to attending events as needed.
Experience and Capabilities
Required:
- 2–3 years' experience in retail or B2B marketing, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute advertising programs across radio, digital, and out-of-home (OOH) channels.
- Experience creating and managing promotional calendars and offers to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Skilled in event and sponsorship coordination, ensuring seamless execution and brand alignment.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder,
with a track record of collaborating across teams and engaging multiple
stakeholders.
