A bit about the role…

We are looking for an Account Manager with a proven sales record, ideally within the building, timber or construction industry, to drive sales, grow our trade customer base and deliver outstanding service to our customers. You will actively present products and services to existing and potential clients, maintaining operational excellence while growing our strong customer base.

As an Account Manager you'll be rewarded with a competitive salary, a vehicle, staff discount, and other incentives. 

We have two full-time opportunities available:

• One 12-month fixed-term role covering maternity leave.
• One permanent role

The successful applicant will have:

• A passion for customer service excellence and sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Good time management, numerical accuracy and IT skills.
• A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
• The ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with team members across different areas of the business.
• Full drivers license

In addition, the following would be advantageous;

• Trade Account Management Experience
• Commercial Building experience
• Construction industry experience
• Understand of QS and ability to read building plans
