Do you know your way around tools, outdoor power equipment, or DIY projects? Are you someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge and helping customers find the right product for the job?

We're looking for two enthusiastic team members to join our busy Tools & Power Garden Department at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill. Whether it's helping a customer choose the right drill, lawn mower, trimmer, or hand tool, you'll play an important role in delivering great advice and outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers to find the right tools, equipment, and products for their projects
• Providing knowledgeable advice and practical solutions
• Building strong relationships through excellent customer service
• Maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays and shelves
• Keeping up to date with new products and industry trends
• Working as part of a supportive team

What we're looking for

• A passion for tools, DIY, or outdoor power garden products
• Previous knowledge or hands-on experience with tools and power garden equipment is highly desirable
• A friendly and approachable personality with strong customer service skills
• A team player who is willing to pitch in where needed
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential

Available Positions

Full-Time Role

• 40 hours per week
• Sunday to Thursday roster

Part-Time Role

• 16 hours per week
• Friday and Saturday roster
