Timber Yard Team Member - Mitre 10 MEGA Ruakura

🔨 About the Role
As a key member of our Timber & Hardware department, you will play an essential role in delivering outstanding service while maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient timber yard.
Reporting to the Drive Thru Supervisor, the role is 40 hours per week worked across Friday to Tuesday (working both weekend days) or alternatively two part-time roles of 16 hours per week worked across Friday to Saturday and 24 hours per week worked across Sunday to Tuesday.

- Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong and trusting relationships with customers.
Demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for all timber and building products within the hardware department.
Embrace a “can-do” attitude with a hands-on and proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety mindset, contributing to a safe working environment for staff and customers.
- Maintain a consistently well-organised, neat, and clean department.
- Perform manual handling of timber and building materials as required.
- Ensure accuracy in orders and stock control with a keen eye for detail.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.

- Strong product knowledge (or willingness to learn) across timber & building supplies.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Forklift licence and F endorsement.
