Who We Are

Riviera Hardware Holdings Ltd is the largest group within the Mitre 10 network, proudly Kiwi-owned and operated. From our beginnings with a single store in Warkworth in 2009, we’ve grown to include Mitre 10 MEGA Albany, New Lynn, Whangaparaoa, and Silverdale, along with Columbus Coffee cafés, a Distribution Centre, and a Frame & Truss Manufacturing Plant.

Mitre 10 has been helping Kiwis get the job done since 1974 — combining the backing of a national brand with the practicality of a hands-on business. Mitre 10 MEGA Albany is one of our busiest stores. High volume, fast-moving, and customer-focused, it’s a store where pace matters, teamwork is critical, and no two shifts look the same.

 

About the Roles

We’re recruiting for two part-time team members to support key trading days across the store. These roles are customer-facing and practical, focused on helping customers make decisions for their homes while keeping the store running smoothly.

Availability

These roles follow fixed shift patterns. These days are non-negotiable and form part of the core team coverage. Applicants must be available for one of the following:

  • Saturday – full day OR
  • Sunday AND Monday – full days (both days are required and cannot be split)

 

What You’ll Bring

These roles are best suited to people who already have a genuine interest or some experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Interior design or professional home styling
  • Outdoor Living and Dining
  • Lighting, electrical, or home technology

 

You’ll also need:

  • Confidence interacting with customers and offering practical advice
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to stay active throughout the shift
  • Reliability and commitment to the fixed days listed above
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
