About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a Team Member to join our Front End team in Warkworth. This is a customer-facing role that’s all about helping shoppers with product queries, claims, returns, special orders, click & collect, and home delivery. You’ll also support the checkout area during busy times and assist with radio calls and in-store paging for customer support. You’ll work closely with our Customer Services Leader and play a key part in maintaining smooth and professional service on the front line.

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Roster includes one weekend day
  • Based at our Warkworth store, located in the beautiful Kowhai Coast


What You’ll Bring

2+ years' experience in retail customer service, ideally in returns, claims, or special orders
✅ Proven cash handling and transaction processing experience (cash, EFTPOS, credit, gift vouchers)
✅ Prior experience working with loyalty card programs and understanding of their systems
✅ Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail
✅ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills
✅ Good verbal communication skills and confidence in using two-way radios and store paging systems
✅ Basic understanding of stock integrity and merchandising standards
✅ Reside within 20km of the store, ideally a local Kowhai Coast resident
✅ Availability to work one weekend day and flexible to assist across shifts as required

 

Your Day-to-Day

🛒 Process product returns, refunds, repairs, and exchanges
📦 Manage special orders, click & collect, and home delivery queries
🎧 Communicate via radio/paging to call for team support or heavy lifting
💳 Process a range of transactions including gift cards, credit, EFTPOS and cash
📈 Assist with balancing transactions or float adjustments when required
🤝 Support customers with friendly, helpful service during every interaction
