Hardware Team Leader – Mitre 10 MEGA Taupo
Mitre 10 MEGA Taupo is a dynamic and growing business, with exciting plans to expand our retail space in 2025/26. We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Team Leader to join our busy Hardware Department.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive team performance, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure the department operates at a high standard every day.
About the Role
You’ll lead a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a strong customer focus while maintaining operational excellence across stock, displays, and store presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock, displays, and point-of-sale while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Lead, train, and develop team members to enhance product knowledge and performance
- Manage a busy and varied workload, prioritising tasks and making timely decisions
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust stock as required using internal systems
- Provide guidance and solutions to resolve operational or customer service issues
- Maintain a safe and respectful work environment, ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods on your feet
About You
