TEAM LEADER – FILL TEAM DEPARTMENT

FULL TIME 40 HOURS PER WEEK

Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is a locally owned and operated company with a vision to provide outstanding customer service and great value products to our customers. 

Our Fill Team department is in the middle of the action, working across multiple departments on the retail shop floor, the Fill Team are responsible for filling the shelves with stock that has arrived from our suppliers, managing the surplus stock that is in our storage cupboards, and assisting in maintaining store presentation and merchandising to a high standard.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to lead and guide the Fill Team Department, this involves supporting the team day to day, overseeing department rosters and training, managing stock movement and supporting the different departments across the store, to deliver the best possible experience to our customers.

This is a very busy, hands-on role, with early morning starts, working 40 hours per week on a Tuesday – Saturday roster (inclusive) roster pattern.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in leading and managing teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in stock management
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied and busy workload
• General computer skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Physically fit as there will be a level of lifting and manual handling, ladder use and walking/standing on concrete floors
• A Forklift Licence would be an advantage
