Supplier Business Partner

Our success is powered by smart use of data and insights, and we’re looking for a Supplier Business Partner who can bring those insights to life for our suppliers and internal teams.
This is a relationship‑driven, insight‑led role where you’ll turn data into meaningful conversations and commercial outcomes.
About the role
As a Supplier Business Partner, you’ll be a key contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders across our Support Centre and stores who rely on Mitre 10’s Merchandise Insights products.
You’ll support users to understand performance, interpret insights, and confidently use data to make better commercial decisions. Alongside strong supplier engagement, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring insights are consistently understood and applied across the business.
You’ll also help shape the future of our insights products by capturing high‑quality feedback and translating it into actionable improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary insights partner for suppliers, category teams and stores
- Support onboarding, training and ongoing use of dashboards and insights tools
- Build and deliver bespoke and specialised reports to support commercial conversations
- Prepare insight‑led commentary for supplier and category reviews
- Coach users on metrics, data logic and interpretation
- Capture structured feedback and translate it into recommendations for the insights roadmap
- Partner closely with Category Managers and Commercial Insights to support strategy and decision‑making
- Promote a strong, positive insights culture across the business
About you
You’re someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, people and commercial decision‑making. You build trust easily and can confidently translate data into stories that resonate.
You’ll bring:
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Clear communication skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical capability and experience interpreting performance data
- Experience building reports and analyses using BI tools and available data sources
- A solid understanding of dashboards, metrics and data logic
- Commercial awareness and familiarity with performance measures
- A user‑first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
