Supervisor - Marketing

This role is within our retail team, reporting to the Retail Manager you will be responsible for ensuring maximum exposure, advertising through multiple media outlets and working with the wider Mitre 10 team to promote instore and National promotion initiatives for both our  Mitre 10 MEGA Greymouth store and Mitre 10 Hokitika store.

This will see you taking accountability for:

• Production of all scheduled marketing including radio, newspaper, flyers, social media etc.
• Production of any extraordinary marketing as required
• Managing the cluster marketing system in conjunction with Mitre 10 Support Centre including the annual production of the "go to market" plan in conjunction with the Retail Manager.
• Contributing to the overall success of the store, actively supporting loss prevention initiatives and process: and
• Liaising with department managers
• Other duties as per position description

We are looking for people who have:

• Retail experience
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead an offer alternative solutions.
• A passion for excellence
• General computer skills; and
• Ability to manage a varied and busy workload

You will be working 20 hours Monday - Friday with some flexibility around start and finish times, there will be occasion where there are promotions such as "ladies' night" that a later finish/extra hour may be required.
