A bit about the roles…
Being a Team Member at Mitre 10 Wainuiomata is all about being customer obsessed. Your focus will be on delivering epic customer service to every customer, every time. When you’re not busy with customers, you’ll be learning about the products in your department and working with stock to keep our shelves full and looking good.
Each position involves three 8-hour shifts per week, with the following roster patterns available:
- Three positions working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Three positions working Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
Shift times will be rostered within our operating hours: 7.30am–6.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am–5.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
A bit about you…
Ideally, you’ll have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude!
We’re looking for people with:
- A great work ethic and the ability to work well in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence using a computer and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail and a flexible approach
- The physical capability to carry out manual handling, prolonged standing, ladder use and lifting with the team
- A good awareness of health and safety
- Availability throughout December 2026 and January 2027, including the days required for your roster
If shortlisted, you must be available to participate in a group interview. This will include a short interview and some simple tasks to complete in a group setting.
