Service Supervisor - Mitre 10 Gisborne

We are looking for someone that will provide outstanding customer service every time our customers walk through the doors and going the extra mile will be the norm. This is a full time position with the successful applicant working Sunday to Thursday. Hours will be discussed at the interview stage.
This position is fast paced – dealing with customer and staff enquiries, telephone calls, QCard & GE Finance, product location, checkout sales and all the other ‘one off’ situations that arise on a day to day basis.
The Service team and area deliver the first and last impression of our business and the person we seek to supervise this area must have the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on their feet.
Ideally, you will have had previous experience leading a team in a fast paced customer service role
This position includes:
- leading the checkout, trade counter and customer service teams, managing their work flow and service standards
- working closely with other leaders within the store
- daily problem solving for staff and customers
- telephone use
- checkout sales, returns and item orders
- making sure processes are understood and being followed
- overseeing customer online and in store orders
- training and development of team
- rostering
- overseeing all credit claims / repairs
- Previous cash handling skills
- A passion for providing excellent customer service
- Be a detail minded self-starter
- Be able to multi-task, and have the ability to follow through and follow up situations in a timely manner
- The ability to work at a fast pace and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Good computer skills
- The ability to problem solve

- Previous experience with SAP will be an advantage
