Senior Finance Business Partner

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Operations team and act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of stores.

About the role

This is a true business partnering role, bridging finance and retail operations. You’ll work closely with store leadership and the Support Centre to turn financial data into meaningful insights, helping stores understand performance, identify opportunities, and lift profitability.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis, while building strong, influential relationships across the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with a portfolio of stores as a strategic finance advisor
• Delivering insightful monthly financial performance reporting and commentary
• Leading budget and forecast processes, including variance analysis
• Building financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve commercial outcomes
• Supporting cost management and store-level improvement initiatives
• Providing finance input into business cases, investments and initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with finance policies, controls and accounting standards
• Supporting and collaborating with other Finance Business Partners
• Contributing positively to team culture, capability and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

• Fully qualified accountant (CAANZ, CPA or CIMA)
• Proven experience in commercial finance, management accounting or business partnering
• Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to apply it commercially
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, plus ERP system experience
• Confidence communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• A collaborative, relationship-driven approach with strong influencing skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a solutions-focused mindset
