Mitre 10 Manukau is looking for a motivated and energetic Seasonal Department Supervisor to lead one of our busiest and most exciting departments.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong selling ethos, excellent people leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Seasonal team to achieve sales and service targets.
• Drive a strong customer-first and sales-focused culture.
• Oversee merchandising, stock availability, promotional execution, and department presentation.
• Coordinate daily operations, staffing, and workload priorities.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve high performance.
• Maintain health, safety, and operational standards across the department.

About You

• Proven retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong sales drive and the ability to influence team performance.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Organised, proactive, and able to make decisions under pressure.
• Passion for customer service and delivering results.
• Experience in garden, seasonal, outdoor living, or big-box retail is advantageous.
