We’re looking for a confident, high-energy sales professional who enjoys helping customers, building rapport, and turning enquiries into sales.

This role suits someone with experience selling higher-value products who is comfortable engaging with customers and guiding them through their options. Full product training will be provided – we’re more interested in your sales ability, attitude, and energy.

This is a permanent Tuesday–Saturday role, with rostered hours across business opening times.

About the role:

This is a hands-on position in a busy retail showroom, combining customer sales with the day-to-day running of the store.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting customers with product selection and purchases
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable service from enquiry through to sale
• Building confidence and trust with customers
• Maintaining showroom standards, including ticketing and keeping displays well presented
• Supporting general retail and store tasks as part of a team
• Working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a sales-focused retail role, ideally with higher-value products
• A strong customer-first mindset
• Clear communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• The ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• High energy and a practical, hands-on attitude

Bonus (but not essential):

• Experience in bathroom, plumbing, trade, or home improvement retail
  (Product knowledge can be taught.)

Physical requirements

• You must be fit and energetic, as the role involves regular heavy lifting and being on your feet throughout the day.
