Sales Assistant/Showroom Designer
As a Sales Assistant/Showroom Designer, the role goes beyond selling products, you will support clients throughout their design journey, providing solutions that match their style, functional needs, and budget requirements. From helping craft the ideal kitchen to designing bathroom spaces, you’ll inspire Kiwis transform their homes into spaces they love. This is a great opportunity to showcase your sales acumen while helping customers bring their dream kitchens and bathrooms to life.
You will be responsible for:
- Client consultations based on their needs, design options, outcome for the project including budget requirements and specifications
- Identifying and advising on the selection of materials, fixtures, and finishes to ensure they meet client’s aesthetic goals and functional requirements
- Developing and presenting design concepts and providing accurate quotations based on agreed layout plans and drawings.
- Managing paperwork from creating client orders and handling overall procurement processes to meet project/order requirements
- Liaise with project managers, installers, suppliers to ensure product specifications and timeframes are meet
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding status of orders and providing exceptional after sales service care to clients
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience with industry-standard design tools is an advantage
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, advance computer skills
- Have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Have a flexible can-do attitude and a willingness to always go the extra mile
- Be able to cope under pressure especially when working to tight deadlines to meet both client and business needs
- Drive and enthusiasm with an absolute passion for customer service excellence.
- The ability to think laterally, identify solutions, and be creative.
- Physically fit as there will be heavy lifting, and ladder use.
