Mitre 10 MEGA Takanini is looking for a passionate and customer-focused team member to join our Paint & Decorating Department. If you love helping people bring their creative visions to life and have an eye for colour, design, and home improvement, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Every day in this role is about transformation. Whether you're helping a customer choose the perfect shade of paint, recommending the right stain for their deck, or offering expert advice on decorating projects, you'll play a key part in turning ideas into reality. Your knowledge of paints, stains, oils, and accessories will ensure every customer gets the right product for the job—along with an exceptional level of service.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on retail environment, loves working with people, and enjoys problem-solving. If you have a flair for colour, DIY or trade knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a great team spirit, we want to hear from you! Retail experience or expertise in painting and decorating would be an advantage, but the right attitude is what matters most.

This is a full-time role, including one weekend day, reporting to the Team Supervisor. In return, you’ll enjoy a fun and dynamic work environment, ongoing training, a uniform, and great staff buying privileges.
