As we head into our busy spring and summer season, we're looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to join our Retail Shop Floor Team. If you enjoy helping customers, staying active, and working in a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Fixed-Term Roles

Houseware Department Fill Team Member

September 2026 - Waitangi Weekend 2027

• 20 hours per week
• Friday to Monday roster pattern, 7:30am - 12:30pm

   

   

As part of our Housewares team, you'll provide excellent customer service while helping customers find the products they need. You'll replenish stock, maintain merchandising displays, and ensure the department is clean, organised, and ready for trading.

Paint Department Team Member

September 2026 - March 2027

• 30 hours per week
• Friday to Monday roster pattern, 7:30am - 2:00pm
  

In this customer-focused role, you'll help customers select the right paint products and accessories for their projects. You'll also assist with colour matching, maintain attractive displays, replenish stock, and ensure the department is well presented and ready for business each day.

Outdoor Furniture Team Member (2 Roles)

Role 1

September 2026 - January 2027

• 18 hours per week
• Friday, Saturday & Sunday roster pattern

Role 2

October 2026 - January 2027

• 22 hours per week
• Friday to Monday roster pattern
  

These roles are ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and helping them create great outdoor living spaces. You'll assist customers with outdoor furniture selections, maintain displays, replenish stock, assist with assembling display products, and help keep the department looking its best throughout the busy summer season.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service
• Assisting customers to find the right products for their needs
• Replenishing stock and maintaining displays
• Keeping departments tidy, well-presented and safe
• Working alongside a supportive team to create a great shopping experience

• Have a positive attitude and strong team spirit
• Enjoy providing excellent customer service
• Are reliable and willing to learn
• Have good communication skills
• Are physically fit and comfortable with lifting, manual handling, ladder use, and being on their feet throughout the shift
• Take pride in doing a job well and working efficiently as part of a team
