Retail Sales Team Member

As we gear up for our busy season, we’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Ponsonby store as a Retail Sales Team Member. If you’re passionate about customer service, love working in a fast-paced environment, and are available for the shifts below, we’d love to hear from you!

Permanent Full-Time – 40 hours/week
Includes one weekend shift, with flexibility across weekdays to meet rostering needs. Great for someone ready to take on a full-time retail career.

Do you have?

• DIY/Home improvement knowledge
• Retail experience
• Confidence in engaging and approaching customers
• The ability and desire to work as part of a team
• Sufficient strength and fitness for merchandising / service tasks
• A positive, engaging personality focused on providing solutions for customers
• A desire to learn, grow, and support your team in doing the same

A Day in the Life:

• Engaging with customers to help them find products and solutions
• Working with process’s, to ensure stock is accurate and accounted for
• Performing light stepladder work to stow and merchandise stock
• Assisting across the store as needed, in multiple departments
• Carrying out general daily shop duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Occasionally covering till service during breaks or high demand
• Working a full-time 40-hour week, including one weekend day
• Being an active part of a positive, dynamic, and engaging team culture
• Demonstrating great timekeeping and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
