About Us
Riviera Hardware Holdings Ltd is the largest group within the Mitre 10 network, proudly Kiwi-owned and operated. Since opening a small Mitre 10 store in Warkworth in 2009, we’ve grown to include Mitre 10 MEGA Albany — New Zealand’s largest hardware store — along with locations in New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparaoa, and Silverdale. Our group also operates Columbus Coffee cafés, a Distribution Centre, and a Frame & Truss manufacturing plant.

About the Store
Our Silverdale store
sits right in the middle of a fast-growing part of the Hibiscus Coast. With new
housing going up across Silverdale, Orewa, Milldale and the surrounding areas,
we’re seeing more customers come through the doors each month.
This means joining a store that is continuing to grow its presence in the area, with the opportunity to be part of a team that is building strong routines, great service, and a loyal local customer base.
About the Role
We have a range of part-time opportunities across different areas of the store, with varying days and hours to suit operational needs.
These are hands-on roles where you’ll be on your feet, working with customers, and helping keep the store in good shape day to day. We’re not expecting specialists, but we are looking for people who understand retail, can work at pace and have a heart for service.
Who This Role Suits
This will suit someone who:
- Has previous retail or customer-facing experience
- Lives locally around Silverdale or the wider Hibiscus Coast
- Wants consistent part-time hours without a long commute
- Is confident dealing with customers and working things out on the go
- Is reliable — turns up and gets stuck in
- Is happy to help across different areas when needed
Your Day-to-Day
Weekends are some of our busiest trading times, so the role involves helping customers quickly find what they need and keeping the department well stocked during those peak periods.
- Helping customers find products and giving practical advice
- Replenishing stock and keeping shelves tidy and well presented
- Supporting different areas of the store depending on trading needs
- Working alongside your team to keep things running smoothly
