Full Time | Sunday to Thursday, 9.30am - 6pm

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hardware Retail Sales.

Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our Hardware and Tools Department. This position offers the opportunity to lead by example, inspire team performance, and ensure customers receive an exceptional shopping experience every time they visit our store.

Key Responsibilities

As the Retail Sales 2IC, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring customers remain our top priority by delivering outstanding service and product knowledge.
• Supporting and motivating team members to foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing work environment.
• Assisting with stock and maintaining department presentation standards.
• Supporting the Retail Sales Manager with daily operations and team leadership.
• Contributing to the achievement of department and store goals while actively supporting company initiatives.
• Promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture by ensuring safe work practices are followed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A genuine passion for customer service and helping customers find the right solutions.
• Proven leadership or staff management experience.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and identify practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when required.
• Sound computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Previous retail or hardware experience would be advantageous.
