🔧 About the Role

We’re looking for a Retail Multi Department Leader to join our team at Mitre 10 MEGA Marlborough.

As a Retail Leader, you’ll guide a team, lift capability, and ensure your department consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be hands-on with coaching, stock presentation, merchandising standards, and operational decision-making to keep your area performing at its best.

You set expectations clearly, lead from the front, and create a positive, solutions-focused culture where your team understands what great looks like every day.

⭐ What You’ll Bring

We welcome leaders from across the retail spectrum—DIY, FMCG, grocery, specialty, or other high-volume environments. If you have experience in Paint Department and/or working in multiple areas, that'll be an advantage. What matters most is your leadership capability and commitment to great customer service. You will bring:

• Proven leadership experience, ideally managing teams of 10+ in a busy retail or customer-facing environment
• A strong coaching mindset with the ability to grow capability and lift performance
• Strong operational discipline with hands-on approach and confidence in stock flow, merchandising, and presentation standards
• A customer-first approach, resolving queries calmly and professionally
• The ability to make sound decisions on the floor and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• A collaborative, positive leadership style that sets the tone for your team
