Retail Manager - MEGA Papamoa

About the role:

This is a leadership first position. Your primary focus is people - guiding, motivating, coaching, and shaping how our retail teams show up every day.

Within our “big box” environment, you’ll set the tone on the shop floor, empowering your team to perform at their best while ensuring every customer feels welcome and supported.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll bring a strong leadership presence and play a pivotal role in creating a cohesive, high performing operation.

You’ll lead with purpose by:

• Providing clear, confident leadership on the retail floor, ensuring your team knows what great looks like and has the support to deliver it

• Developing, coaching, and mentoring department supervisors to lift capability, build confidence, and create a positive accountable team culture

• Working closely with the Store Operations Manager to drive strong stock availability, accurate inventory management, and efficient retail processes

• Championing the customer experience, setting expectations and standards that ensure consistent, genuine Kiwi service

• Maintaining strong operational standards while balancing pace, people, and performance
