Regional Trade Pricing Analyst

Join our Albany Support Centre as a Regional Trade Pricing Analyst! Two exciting 6-month fixed-term roles available.
This role will see you partner with Trade team members including the store network to maintain and optimise margin, accelerate profitable Trade and market share growth, while also assisting in driving improved customer experiences. Key to succeeding will be providing valuable reporting/ performance metrics, operational input and leadership around business tool utilization and creation.
What you’ll deliver:
- Commercial and Margin Improvement Strategies: Partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g. Merchandising, Finance) to identify and implement data-driven strategies that pricing efficiency.
- Pricing Performance Analysis: Leading reviews of pricing structures (e.g. pricing matrices) to ensure alignment with market conditions and business objectives.
- Scalable Insights and Tooling: Develop tools and dashboards that support scalable decision-making across the organization.
- Customer Segmentation and Assignment Review: Supporting
commercial effectiveness by reviewing customer allocation strategies and
identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
Your background will include:
- Clear and direct communication with key stakeholders to influence decisions.
- Expertise in trade pricing matrices and best practice management.
- Strong analytical literacy with hands-on experience in pricing frameworks, tools, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to analyse and optimize margin performance, particularly for account-based or contract customers.
- Skilled in using data visualization and business intelligence tools to drive commercial outcomes.
- Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or similar
platforms for decision support and reporting.
