Production Operator – Frame, Truss & Floor Cassette Manufacturing - Fixed Term

Juted Frame and Truss is experiencing exciting growth and is expanding its Frame, Truss & Floor Cassette operation. We manufacture high-quality frames, trusses, and floor cassettes for residential and commercial construction projects across the region.

Our new Waihi facility combines modern equipment, innovative processes, and a strong team culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Fixed-term position ending February 2027.

The Role

As a Production Operator, you will:

• Build and assemble timber wall frames, roof trusses and floor cassette systems.
• Operate production machinery, power tools, saws, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process with accurate measuring, checking and assembly.
• Work within a structured production line and support a smooth workflow across all stations.
• Follow health & safety requirements and contribute to a clean, organised, lean working environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Assist with material movement, loading, stacking and general production tasks as needed.

We want someone who brings:

• Experience in frame & truss manufacturing or practical construction experience as a hammer hand or carpenter.
• Strong hand-tool and power-tool skills, with confidence working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read basic plans or work instructions (training provided).
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team-focused attitude.
• Good communication and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic computer skills – comfortable using screens, software, or digital instructions to operate machinery and complete online training modules.
• A team player who takes pride in contributing to our growth and being part of a high-performing manufacturing team.
