About the Role

As a Detailer, you will be responsible for producing accurate designs, plans, and costings for timber frame and truss manufacturing. Using Mitek software and applying NZS 3604 standards, you’ll ensure designs are buildable, efficient, and production ready.

You’ll work closely with builders, architects, engineers, and internal production teams to minimise errors, support smooth workflows, and contribute to strong project outcomes and profitability.

What Will You Bring

• ➡️Experience in detailing, estimating or Quantity Survey roles within the construction or manufacturing sector (pre-cut experience preferred)
  
• ➡️Proven experience translating plans into manufacturing outputs ensuring efficient, constructible solutions (required)
• ➡️Strong proficiency with Mitek Software (highly desirable)
• ➡️Confident numeracy skills (required)
• ➡️Working knowledge of NZS 3604 and construction methodology (required)
  
• ➡️Ability to produce accurate costings, quates and reports (required)
• ➡️High attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused mindset 

You'll Also Need

🔹 Solid understanding of timber frame and truss manufacturing processes
🔹 Experience liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders
🔹 Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
🔹 Full NZ Class 1 driver’s license
