Paint & Decor Team Member - Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield

About the role

This full-time, permanent position is available at Grove Mitre 10 MEGA, Glenfield. Our shift is rostered to work Tuesday to Saturday working 40 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated team.  We are seeking candidates that can deliver excellent customer service to our trade and DIY customers and assist them to find the right products to meet their needs. Your daily duties will vary from customer service, bringing in stock, replenishing shelves, merchandising new products and much more.

Our team is highly regarded when it comes to paint and decor. Our experts' knowledge and customer service level is like no others and our customers know that they can fully trust our advice when it comes to transforming their most loved spaces or surfaces with the right colours, materials and tools. No wonder our paint counter is increasingly busy and now needs another superstar to join the team.

You will be part of a very supportive, knowledgeable team that work together to deliver great service. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow your retail sales career.

An ideal candidate will have

• a passion for customer service excellence
• retail sales experience, desired but not essential
• knowledge of paint, paint accessories and decor will make you a desirable candidate
• excellent listening, communication skills and be solution focused 
• an ability to take initiative, be mature and autonomous
• physical fitness as lifting and merchandising products is part of this role:  full paint buckets can be quite heavy
