Mitre 10 Wellington Central Trade Yard Member

Are you hands-on, customer-focused, and ready to be part of a team that keeps New Zealand’s building and renovation projects moving? Mitre 10 is looking for a motivated Trade Yard Team Member to join our dynamic crew at our new Wellington Central store!

We are looking for a someone who has an interest in the building industry (knowledge of the building industry is not necessary as training will be provided) and can deliver exceptional customer service both to our DIY customers and to our Tradies.

 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting trade customers with product selection, loading, and general enquiries
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
• Supporting stock control and inventory processes
• Delivering top-notch service with a friendly, can-do attitude

What We’re Looking For:

• A team player with a strong work ethic and great communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Previous experience in a trade or retail environment is a bonus
• Commitment to health & safety and customer satisfaction
• Forklift license will be a plus with an ‘F’ endorsement
• Full Drivers Licence that is current and clean

This position is for a permanent part time with a minimum of 2 days per week. Must have flexibility to work across weekdays, cover a weekend day and/or public holidays.
