Mitre 10 Waihi - Inwards Goods Team Member

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inwards Goods Team Member to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis.

This fixed-term opportunity will run through to 28 March 2027.

Hours of work:

Tuesday - Saturday - (39.5 hours per week).

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, checking, and processing incoming stock, ensuring products are accurately recorded and made available to the store in a timely manner. You'll work as part of a supportive team and play a key role in maintaining efficient stock flow across the business.

 

What you can expect in this role:

• Accurately check, receipt, and record all incoming goods
• Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored, and available for the team
• Work closely with other departments to maintain inventory accuracy
• Undertake physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock
• Support a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong attention to detail and good computer literacy
• A hands-on attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Previous storeroom, inventory, or warehouse experience (preferred)
• A current OSH forklift endorsement (essential)
• A full New Zealand Driver's Licence (essential)
