We are seeking a motivated and organised Logistics Coordinator to join our Trade team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and can effectively coordinate people, vehicles, and deliveries to achieve outstanding results.

About the Role

Reporting to the Trade Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and safe delivery of customer orders while supporting operational excellence across the delivery function. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, yard teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest standard.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Coordinating and overseeing the picking, loading, and delivery of customer orders.
• Supporting efficient delivery operations through effective planning and vehicle utilisation.
• Providing professional and courteous service to customers.
• Resolving delivery-related issues and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams.
• Promoting a positive team culture and high standards of performance.
• Contributing to productivity and efficiency improvements within the delivery function.
• Maintaining responsibility for the presentation and roadworthiness of company vehicles.
• Ensuring regular vehicle inspections and pre-start checks are completed.

• Previous experience in logistics, delivery coordination, trade, transport, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to build positive working relationships across teams and with customers.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
• A commitment to health, safety, and compliance.
• A current full driver's licence. Class 2 licence or the willingness to obtain one would be advantageous.
