Are you an experienced warehouse professional with a background in Inwards Goods and Stock Fill? Mitre 10 MEGA Whanganui is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Inwards Goods & Fill Team Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in ensuring stock flows efficiently from supplier delivery through to our shop floor.

You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all incoming stock from suppliers, ensuring goods are accurately receipted, processed, and available for customers as quickly as possible. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing daily leadership, direction, coaching, and support to the Inwards Goods & Fill Team.
• Coordinating all incoming stock and ensuring accurate receipting into our inventory management system.
• Ensuring the smooth flow of stock into the store and onto the sales floor to meet customer demand.
• Assisting with unloading and loading deliveries, including forklift operation.
• Maintaining accurate stock handling and inventory processes.
• Ensuring offsite storage areas are kept clean, organised, safe, and tidy at all times.
• Maintaining team standards, disciplines, and productivity.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to support the overall success of the store.
• Working evening shifts as required to support stock flow and replenishment activities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working predominantly Monday to Friday and due to the nature of the operation, evening work forms part of this role.

• Previous experience in warehousing or a similar logistics environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate team members.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confidence using computerised inventory systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and ladder use.
• A forklift licence is preferred; however, training can be provided to the right candidate.
