Mitre 10 MEGA Wanaka is a dynamic and fast-growing company with a vision to provide a high level of customer service and expertise to our customers in Wanaka and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Trade team that has been awarded "Mitre 10 Trade Store of the Year" numerous times.

Working closely with the entire Trade Team this is a key role in the relationship between customers and the business and requires a broad skill set and ability to engage with both internal and external customers.  This role will be responsible for compiling full house estimates and engaging with customers to meet their building material needs.  This is a fast paced role where establishing customer’s requirements and liaising with suppliers and internal personnel to deliver accurate information is a key focus.

You will bring;

• Knowledge of building supply products is advantageous, but not a requirement if you are willing to learn
• First and foremost a very strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate technical information
• Intermediate computer/keyboard skills and ability to learn new systems and software
• A true focus on customer service
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Good multi-tasking skills and ability to learn and understand new products
• Ability to problem-solve and maintain high customer standards under pressure
• Organisation and time management skills

This is a full-time permanent role Monday-Friday, with work hours, 8am – 5pm, with paid leave on public holidays. 

We are seeking applications from candidates that will be long term residents in Wanaka.

Applicants must be either a New Zealand resident or hold a current work visa and requires a full New Zealand drivers licence.
