We are looking for four enthusiastic Customer Service Team Members to join our Garden Department on a fixed-term basis until the end of January 2027.

• 24 hours per week
• Availability to work at least one weekend day per week is required.
• Rosters are published two weeks in advance to help you plan your work-life commitments.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Garden Team, you'll help create an enjoyable shopping experience while keeping our department looking its best.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable advice on plants, gardening products, and outdoor projects.
• Assisting customers to find the right solutions for their gardening needs.
• Maintaining healthy, attractive plant displays through watering, care, and presentation.
• Restocking merchandise and ensuring the department remains tidy and well organised.
• Sharing seasonal gardening tips and product knowledge to inspire customer success.
• Working collaboratively with your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Undertaking physical tasks, including lifting and moving bags of soil, compost, pots, plants, and other garden products.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in gardening, plants, or landscaping.
• Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.
• Is enthusiastic, positive, and reliable.
• Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work and regular lifting.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Is available to work one weekend day each week.

Previous gardening, nursery, landscaping, or retail experience would be advantageous, but a passion for learning and helping customers is equally important.
