Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga- Customer Experience (Trolleys)

Hours: 18 hours per week, which may include one weekend day. Work rosters will be published at least two weeks in advance to ensure you have clear notice of your scheduled shifts.

The hours for this role are typically day shift hours between the hours of 8am and 6pm

With a focus on trolley collection and store presentation

Your day-to-day will include:

Customer Experience & Frontline Service

  • Deliver friendly, professional service while processing transactions and supporting customer enquiries
  • Create smooth, positive experiences at every stage of the customer journey
  • Assist customers with directions, carry-out support, and general store assistance where needed

Trolley Collection & Store Presentation

  • Proactively collect, return, and organise trolleys from carparks and surrounding areas to ensure availability for customers
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment in trolley bays, entrances, and carpark areas
  • Monitor and respond to trolley demand during peak and off-peak periods
  • Support overall store presentation by keeping entry points tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with trolleys

Team Support & Operations

  • Work collaboratively with team members across departments to ensure efficient store operations
  • Assist with general duties as required, including restocking, cleaning, and supporting busy periods
  • Follow health & safety guidelines, particularly when working in outdoor and carpark environments
