We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to oversee our Building Zone. This role involves working closely with experienced 2IC's and Team Leaders, managing Trade Drive-Thru, Power Tools, and Timber & Building Supplies.

About the Role

This is a Tuesday to Saturday full-time position (40 hours per week) and reporting directly to the Store Manager. 

This role will include one opening and one closing Duty Managers shift.

  • Industry Expertise – Strong knowledge of DIY, power tools, timber, and building supplies.

     

  • Communication & Leadership – Ability to manage performance, motivate teams, and drive success.

     

  • Financial Acumen – Budget management and inventory control expertise.

     

  • Health & Safety Compliance – Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.

     

  • Valid Driver’s License – Full New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license (forklift license advantageous).

  • Team Development & Support – Drive engagement, training, and succession planning while taking on Duty Management responsibilities.
