We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to oversee our Building Zone. This role involves working closely with experienced 2IC's and Team Leaders, managing Trade Drive-Thru, Power Tools, and Timber & Building Supplies.
About the Role
This is a Tuesday to Saturday full-time position (40 hours per week) and reporting directly to the Store Manager.
This role will include one opening and one closing Duty Managers shift.

- Customer Service Excellence – Provide outstanding service while acting in the best interest of the company.
- Industry Expertise – Strong knowledge of DIY, power tools, timber, and building supplies.
- Communication & Leadership – Ability to manage performance, motivate teams, and drive success.
- Financial Acumen – Budget management and inventory control expertise.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Valid Driver’s License – Full New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license (forklift license advantageous).

- Team Development & Support – Drive engagement, training, and succession planning while taking on Duty Management responsibilities.
