We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Retail Team Member to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working 24 hours per week.

About the Role

• You will work 24 hours per week, including Saturday and Sunday. Availability on both weekend days is essential.
• Rosters are published at least two weeks in advance to give you clear notice of your shifts.
• This role is based in our Retail Zone, which covers a broad range of departments including Seasonal, Hardware, Paint, Plumbing, Bathrooms, and more.
• This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your product knowledge across multiple areas of the store, with plenty to learn and opportunities to grow.
• Shifts will be scheduled between our store operating hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm. Applicants must have availability across these hours.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing friendly, helpful customer service across a variety of departments
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and helping them find the right solutions for their projects
• Filling shelves and maintaining stock presentation to ensure products are well stocked and easy to find
• Assisting with physical tasks, including lifting and moving products where required
• Working collaboratively with team members to keep store operations running smoothly
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods and across different departments as needed

What we’re looking for:

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work across multiple departments
• A good level of physical fitness
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday
