Mitre 10 Kerikeri - Hardware Department

Mitre 10 Kerikeri is a dynamic and ever-expanding locally owned and operated company currently looking for the right person to fit into their Hardware Team. If you know the difference between an Eye Bolt and a Wing Bolt or an Eye Nut and a Hexagon Cap Nut - then we want you!

Ideally, you’ll have some experience in hardware but if you have years of DIY experience under your belt, that will be seen just as favourably. Either way, you will enjoy helping our customers get exactly what they need to get the Mahi done! Our Hardware department is a fast-paced area and heavy lifting is part of the role so a reasonable standard of physical fitness is a must!

We have one position with between 24 - 32 hours per week depending on the applicant.

• The ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time and to be able to work on a roster including a weekend day

• Growing sales by providing exceptional customer service
• Maintaining high merchandising standards & managing stock
• Working closely & assisting in other departments if required
• Heavy lifting and physical movement are required
• Some department specific activities such as key and rope cutting.
• Promoting health and safety, following safe work practices within your team at all times.
