MEGA Papamoa Drive Thru Team Member
Locally owned and operated, we’re passionate retailers who take pride in supporting our team to deliver excellent service and solutions for our customers. As we prepare for this exciting new chapter, we are now recruiting 10 Drive Thru Team Members to join our team and help us deliver a great experience for trade and DIY customers in our new store. These are a mix of full-time/part-time roles, working between 5 FTE in total and include 3 full-time and 4 part-time positions, working between 20-40 hours per week across 3 to 5 days, including one weekend day.
This is your chance to join from the start, be part of a busy Drive Thru team, and help create a safe, efficient, and reliable experience for trade and DIY customers in a brand-new MEGA store environment.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll provide friendly service and safe, efficient load-out for trade and DIY customers in the Drive Thru. You’ll help keep the yard running smoothly by picking and loading orders accurately, maintaining presentation and location accuracy, following safe handling practices, and working closely with Trade and Inwards Goods to meet customer needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Pick, stage, and load customer orders accurately, confirming products against paperwork
- Apply safe handling and load-securement standards, including spotter methods and traffic plan requirements
- Maintain yard presentation, including location accuracy, clear bays, correct ticketing, and support for promotional set-ups
- Coordinate with Trade and Inwards Goods on priority orders and time-sensitive deliveries
- Support basic product queries and connect customers with the right team members when specialist help is needed
