Compliance Manager

We’re seeking a Compliance Manager to champion health & safety and ensure our Team is trained and supported to deliver excellence.

This role combines hands-on safety leadership with coordinating induction and ongoing training for our Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety:

  • Develop and implement safety/wellness objectives and programs.
  • Lead the Health & Safety Committee and monitor incidents.
  • Maintain hazard registers, compliance documentation, and contractor safety programs.
  • Manage, implement and monitor return to work plans as required.
  • Organise safety checks, and ensure certifications are current.
  • Analyse trends and drive continuous improvement.

Training & Induction:

  • Coordinate inductions for new Team members and refresher training.
  • Manage eLearning schedules and monitor completion.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure store operating procedures are up to date.
  • Develop new training materials as needed.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all legislative and Company requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and maintain risk assessments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in training coordination and compliance management.
  • Exceptional ability to learn and use new software quickly, with strong Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role or in retail management
