About the role

We’re on the lookout for a full-time Security Team Member to help keep our New Lynn store safe and secure. This role is perfect for someone who’s calm under pressure, comfortable engaging with the public, and confident working independently. You’ll be a visible presence in the store, helping prevent theft, supporting health and safety, and ensuring customers are doing the right thing.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in security / loss prevention in a retail setting required
• Comfortable using devices like radios and security systems
• Friendly but firm communication style
• Good judgement and common sense
• Physically fit and comfortable on your feet all day
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Reliable and available for regular weekend work
• Preference for someone who lives in West Auckland within easy reach of New Lynn

Your Day-to-Day

• Patrol the store, trade yard, and outdoor areas
• Monitor CCTV and review incidents
• Report safety issues or suspicious activity
• Collaborate with your teammates to prevent loss
• Maintain accurate logs and incident records
