We’re
looking for a motivated Kitchen Hand & Front of House Team Member to
join Columbus Coffee Hastings. This combined role gives you the chance to build
your skills in both the kitchen and the café — perfect for someone who wants
variety, enjoys learning, and likes staying busy.
What the role involves
In the
kitchen:
- Preparing and
assembling a range of menu items
- Following recipes
accurately
- Maintaining clean,
organised workspaces
- Supporting our chefs
during busy service times
Front of
House:
- Greeting customers and
providing great hospitality
- Serving food and
beverages
- Keeping the café tidy
and presentable
- Helping create a
positive experience for every guest
What we’re looking for
- Genuine interest in
cooking and food preparation
- Friendly, confident
customer service
- Good eye for detail and
ability to follow recipes
- Clean and tidy work
habits
- Understanding of Food
Safety and Health & Safety practices
- Willingness to pitch in
across the entire café
- A calm, cheerful
approach when things get busy
Experience
is a bonus, but it’s your attitude, energy, and willingness to
learn that will make you stand out.
