Kitchen Dishwasher – Weekend Position (Saturday & Sunday)
Columbus Coffee at Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Dishwasher to join our café team on weekends. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working as part of a supportive team in a busy café environment. The position is 10 hours per weekend including lunch break, working 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday.
About the Role:
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Ensuring all kitchen items are cleaned, sanitised, and ready for use
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and wash-up areas
- Assisting with general kitchen cleaning duties as required
- Removing rubbish and keeping work areas tidy and organised
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
About You:
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both Saturday and Sunday
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to help the team wherever needed
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
