Our New Lynn store is a high-volume, fast-moving retail environment serving West Auckland homeowners and trade customers. 📦 About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours) position working Monday to Friday — no weekend roster. As part of our Inwards Goods team, you will be responsible for ensuring all stock entering and leaving the store is processed accurately and efficiently. This includes receipting, checking delivery documentation, identifying discrepancies, managing claims, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. This is not just unloading trucks — it is a role requiring accuracy, organisation, and accountability. This role requires someone dependable who understands that errors in Inwards impact the entire store.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately receipting stock against delivery documentation
• Processing returns, credits, and inter-store transfers
• Managing claims and damaged goods documentation
• Coordinating safe storage of stock to minimise H&S risk
• Maintaining a clean, organised back-of-house environment
• Supporting inventory accuracy and operational flow
• Immediate start available.

🧠 What You’ll Bring

• We are looking for someone experienced, steady, and physically capable.
  
• 1–3 years’ experience in inwards goods, warehousing, dispatch, or logistics (ideally within big box retail)
• Strong attention to detail when receipting and processing stock
• Confidence working with documentation and inventory systems
• Physical fitness and ability to handle lifting safely
• A full driver’s licence
• Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to obtain certification)
• The ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-moving environment
• Reliability and consistency — this role requires someone who shows up and delivers
• Based in New Lynn — ideally suited to West Auckland residents who value working close to home.
