📦 About the Role

This is a fixed-term, full-time (40 hours per week) role for 12 months, working Monday to Friday — no weekend roster.

As part of our Inwards Goods team, you will be responsible for ensuring all stock entering and leaving the store is processed accurately and efficiently. This includes receipting, checking delivery documentation, identifying discrepancies, managing claims, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

This is not just unloading trucks — it is a role requiring accuracy, organisation, and accountability. Errors in Inwards Goods impact the entire store, so we need someone dependable who takes ownership of their work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately receipting stock against delivery documentation
  • Processing returns, credits, and inter-store transfers
  • Managing claims and damaged goods documentation
  • Coordinating safe storage of stock to minimise H&S risk
  • Maintaining a clean, organised back-of-house environment
  • Supporting inventory accuracy and operational flow
  • Immediate start available.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years’ experience in inwards goods, warehousing, dispatch, or logistics (ideally within retail)
  • Forklift certification highly favoured (at minimum, a full driver’s licence)
  • Strong attention to detail when receipting and processing stock
  • Confidence working with documentation and inventory systems
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle lifting safely
  • The ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-moving environment
  • Reliability and consistency — this role requires someone who shows up and delivers
  • Ideally suited to candidates based on or near the Hibiscus Coast who value working close to home.
